Gate, Guardian Dog, Unicorn

The gate is closed. We are blocked in our progress. Who did this, says the ego? We did. Oh, you say no I didn't. Metaphysically, we are all one, therefore we did.

Gates that are locked and blocked are generally that way for good reason. There are safety issues, emotional issues, etc. It may be time to wait or find another alternative.

Does the blockage require healing to be removed? Are you working on your blocks? Ask what needs to be done, develop a plan and then take the right actions.


The Guardian Dog is the instrument of the lover. We often think of the dog as a protector. They protect us and have wonderful loyalty as long as we treat them respectfully.

The dog is attentive, listening and focused. The same kind of focus when they are waiting to greet us when we come home. What a great feeling to be greeted by your best friend.

This card came up yesterday as the theme for the Mother's Day Homily. The love is unconditional, like the love from God and from our mothers. How beautiful that love is. Share the love with others.

The Unicorn is the card of uncontrolled force (reckless). There is physical energy and vital force. The Unicorn is alert and aware of subtle energy.

Unicorn tells you that you are ready to move ahead. You are no longer closed off or limited.

Bring out your potential, not the reckless.

Use discipline energy to raise yourself up to a higher and purer level. It raises all of us too.

The wait is over. That which has blocked you, the gate has been opened for you as shown by the Unicorn. Love makes things happen.
