I have thought that today could be a very interesting day. In numerology, 8/8/2008 combines to 26 {8}! If one reads it as 08/08/08, the combination would result in the number 24 {6}. Some folks I know will think all the 8s to be sinister or a bad omen. It will be interesting to monitor the events of the day; also very interesting that your last shustah card for today would be Scorpio. I always relate the number 8 to Scorpio (8th house) and thus, as you said, transformation has to considered. What kinds of transformation will occur today visible and otherwise? We'll see. That the number 6 appears in both combinations suggests issues of health and public, humanitarian service. Unlike "traditional" Astrology, I see the 6th house as ruled by Chiron not Mercury. The "teacher healer" is a Christ-like archetype. Let's pray and affirm that there will be "transformative healing" on this day with other people and groups (2 and 8!) There's your Olympic ideal! Oh by the way; in numerology, 8 is also a number of accomplishment and recognition.
It is certainly not by chance that the Chinese Olympic committee choose Aug 8 2008 as the day of the opening ceremonies. In China, 8 is extremely lucky - representing infinite and the completion of things. It is pronounced much the same as the word Wealth. It is considered very lucky to do anything that requires success on this date. If we read of the opening ceremonies one day after, we hear of praise. I hope you all made an effort to use the positive energy of and personally, I would like to be back on Earth for Aug 8, 8888 !!
