Bed, Angel of Summer, Gate

The bed is the card of repose, illness or misconduct.  It symbolizes the physical need for rest as well as emotional relationships of great intensity.

We know we need rest.  We know we need to dream for rest to be effective. Yet we push the envelope.  Not getting enough rest is a cause of illness.

Even God rested on the 7th day of creation.  God set the example for us to follow.  Is not getting the rest worth it?  

Pleasant and meaningful dreams to you.  Program it as you go to bed.

Angel of Summer, card of success.  You can do it and be successful.  This is the season.  It is the peak of our mental endeavor, knowing a spiritual work is half completed and knowing that important factors are working for you.

Archangel Uriel is full of emotional expression. 

The light diminishes day by day.  Darkness comes earlier each day.  This is the nature of the end of summer.  A time of growth still.  Enjoy these days and find restful ways to fill your time.  Use those vacation days.

The red gate tells us NO.  We are blocked.  The gate is closed.  

The timing is not right to move forward now.  It is ok to rest.

Be flexible and move back some.  When the time is right, the gate will open and we can move forward.  "Know when to hold and when to fold", sings Kenny Rogers.  Good advice for today.  Why bang your head against the gate.

Gracefully accept denial and rest.  You deserve it.
