Gnomes, Whip, Pale Horse

Kabiri, the Fire Gods who tend the internal fires and treasures of the earth. One gains through attention to labor, industry. How are we doing with it?

The Spiritual Virtues of the Gnomes is transmutation, the making of the Philosopher's Stone. Turning the base metal into Gold.

The gnomes tell us not to give up. There is progress through perseverance. Is your perseverance wavering a little today?

Hang in there and keep on working on it.

The whip is about discipline. Will today take great mental effort if there may be emotional unhappiness or possibly physical difficulties?

What tests us, makes us stronger. We struggle to attain and in so there is a karmic strengthening of character.

Untangle things today. Stay grounded and not reacting to others negative emotions.

Use your strengths developed from discipline.

The Pale Horse is the Card of Fear, especially physical fear.

Today, you may be dealing with some issues of fear or panic. Take a deep breath, count to 15 and move forward.

When fear comes up, it blocks our ability to see options. It puts blinders on us. That little bean sized gland, the amygdala, wants us to fight or take flight.

Get your feet back down on the ground and stabilize.  I'll not let fear rule me is your mantra.

How are you doing with the things you are working on, the Gnomes ask?  Can you persevere?  Time to apply our disciplines today.  Looks like a challenge for us.  Use your strengths.  You can use your emotions to move you forward, but don't let fear drive you or you may be not seeing your best options.

Another way to look at the Gnomes is that they are breaking things down to smaller size that we can handle it.  Whip also implies work.  We often say that we are working under the whip which indicates a sense of forced labor or hard labor.  Can we go into our neutral mind and find a better way?  Yes, especially if do not let fear limit our options.  Fear affects our breathing.  Reground yourself and breathe deeply.  I said re-ground and the Gnomes are below ground.  Get your Earth connection and stay grounded today.
