Candle, Path, Serpent

The candle is the symbol of wisdom. Find that wisdom today. "It is better to light one candle than curse the darkness" is a very slight on the less common "Chinese proverb" "'Don't curse the darkness - light a candle." The advice given is "if something is wrong, do something about it rather than complain."

Can we throw some light on the situation today?. Light can help us see more clearly.

Candle light also creates a warm environment.

The Path card is about time and distance. As a short path, it refers to an emotion that does not endure for long. It is pronounced but temporary.

There is a touch of the unconscious, the abode of the Gods. We have allowed the unconscious to come to the conscious. That's what readings are all about.

We are on the short path. We can only see a short distance.

What lies beyond? We have to be in the present to get there.

Do you see the serpent's tongue testing and sensing. We could emulate this being and be wiser. How much do we sense before acting? The serpent is also connected to the Earth. So are we, yet we ignore our Earth Mother.

Be in the present as you move forward.   Use the power with wisdom.
Can we bring in light today, even as little as a candle's light, although in darkness, a little candle is so powerful.  Path card is about time and distance and refers to an emotion that is temporary.  Stay on the path, it's a mess otherwise.  Remember the serpent represents very powerful energy.  We have an eclipse happening on Monday.  Be alert.
