Black Cat, Totem, Pregnant Mouse

The cat is telling us to be alert. The black cat is the card of alert attention. There may be danger so alertness is appropriate.

Something very powerful is coming into your life - a teacher.

Feel the love. Stay centered. Be ready like the cat.

We might be startled by the cat jumping out at us from the grass.

Stay in the present. How do you know if you are in the present? Ask.

The Totem is all about family, especially Spiritual family. It is our connection with the past. It is the karma we bring into this life. It is about genetic influences.

There is great power in the Totem and the connection with our ancestors. Draw upon that power and to the Earth. We can make a difference in so many ways. Ask Earth Mother what you are to do, then do it.

The movie 'Avatar' reminds us of our connection with Earth Mother. Remember that there are traces of our ancestors in our DNA. We are from them. We have, however, our choices at this time. Look for karmic bonds.

The pregnant mouse is the card of poverty: poor as a mouse.  It is also about your needs being met.

There is also emotional stress and the feel of threat (you might feel very small in a much larger world). Are you focusing on lack and in need of support?

Lack on the mental level can also cause restriction on the physical level.

Can you change your thinking? Can you focus on your abundance instead?

The mouse also tells us to be patient. The seeds are planted and will take some time to develop and be delivered, like a baby.

Be alert today.  Good advice with the Labor Day weekend holiday.  So many people are traveling the last unofficial week of summer to vacations and being with family.  Watch your steps and keep your eyes on the road.  NO TEXTING and avoid distractions.  Your family is more important than the distraction.

Yesterday we were talking at lunch about poverty consciousness.  Can we change it?  I believe so.  One way is to be thankful and grateful.  Another is to use mantra, such as "I am bountiful, blissful and beautiful".  Try it.  But stay alert today.
