Self, Path, Ouroboros

In our long journey here, we traverse through the 12 signs of the zodiac, experiencing the archetypes of each sign. In each, we have learned both the positive and negative aspects and attributes. We experience, expand the consciousness of our self, the Divine Self and the true Self. Evolving and expanding in a glorious way.

How is your evolution and expansion coming? Are you working on your purification? I hope so. There is the affect of the cosmic on us today. Do you feel it? What are the issues you are working on? There are great opportunities available to us. Is it painful, what you are going through now?

The Path card is about time and distance. As a short path, it refers to an emotion that does not endure for long. It is pronounced but temporary. There is a touch of the unconscious, the abode of the Gods.

A beautiful message is to take a step at a time and 1 day at a time. We can only see a short distance. When we peer into the darkness, our perceptions fail us and our imagination runs wild. Instead, think that God is in both the light and the dark, the manifest and unmanifest.

Stay on the straight and narrow path, otherwise, it's messy out there.

The Ouroboros is a symbol of connection. The snake has it's tail in it's mouth, creating the circle. It is a connection without end.

This is about Divine unity as well. Connecting and being one with God is the way.

Ouroboros is also about unity. We are all one. We may not realize it, but when we do, everything changes. How can I be angry with another? It is as if I am angry with myself. So too, if we love our self, we also love others.

I was looking into one of my books on meditation and the stages of meditation, including contemplation. The Ouroboros appeared on the pages, almost exactly as shown on the card. It blew me away and I had to re-read what it had to say.

The two points that it made was that everything in the universe is circular. The second point was that the circle symbolizes the eternal nature of the All.

A literal read would be that the Self is on the short path back to the connection of the All. Or, how about that the Self has a short path to the All. Believe IT or not.
