Chalice, Foxes, Spying Page

The Chalice is the card of Holiness. It relates to Spirit. Is it the lost grail cup? Is if full of Spirit? Are we the Grail, the Chalice?

On the mundane, it could refer to a drinking party. Friday and Saturday nights are often party nights for many.

See the drops from the vine filling up the cup? Is it water or wine. Does it matter? Do you see it full or empty? Are you drinking from Spirit? Are you receiving Spiritual Blessings? Even more importantly, are you giving blessings?

Are you filling yourself with 'Loving Kindness (Metta)'? Maybe you should.

The Moon is out and the clouds have parted. The Moon reflects the light from the Sun and the Moonlight shines on us. If you look, you can see things happening that you couldn't see otherwise.

The foxes tell us to be observe and wait for the most opportune time - use our mental capabilities and also watch for the cleverness of others. Be alert to what is going on around you.

You may observe what is being setup. We are nearing a new moon. A time when the moon is darkest. With little light, we see less unless we have extra light or we ask for light. There are changes happening with the foxes. One stays and the other watches. To me that says employ both observation and action.

The Spying Page or Hesitating Page is the card of the Basic Self and Watchfulness. Note the alertness. There is the hearing and listening. There is also the lack of freedom in initiative.

We could be seeing an unhappy inner child, where there is indecision.

The Spying Page's lower self is watching and waiting.

From the place of the observer, options and alternatives become obvious. One doesn't have to react, one can chose and act with clear mind.

Another message of the red page is to wait for the best time. Be patient.

The Chalice is being filled with God's light and love. When the moon is less, more light comes from the stars. Light helps us to see with clarity, especially with the higher self. Then the lower self appears. The higher self brings the clarity to the lower self. Don't wait or hesitate too long.
