Chalice, Candle, Weeping Woman

The Chalice is the card of Holiness. It relates to Spirit. Is it the lost grail cup? Is if full of Spirit? Are we the Grail, the Chalice?

On the mundane, it could refer to a drinking party. Friday and Saturday nights are often party nights for many.

See the drops from the vine filling up the cup? Is it water or wine. Does it matter? Do you see it full or empty? Are you drinking from Spirit? Are you receiving Spiritual Blessings? Even more importantly, are you giving blessings?

Are you filling yourself with 'Loving Kindness (Metta)'? Maybe you should.

The candle is the symbol of wisdom. Find that wisdom today.

The candle says "In light of what we know". To the left we have the Chalice and to the right the Weeping Woman. This is telling us that our knowledge and wisdom comes by raising our consciousness to the Divine.

Light a candle and bring more light into the world. Use the candle when you begin to meditate. Think of the light as a higher vibration that lifts you up and brings light to the darkness.

Open to illumination and wisdom. Here it comes.

I sometimes think that the Weeping Woman card is the saddest one in the deck. I am an optimist though. So what is the positive side of this otherwise sad card?

The woman is in a backless dress, so it must be warm outside and the leaves are still on the Weeping Willow. She is obviously in a warmer place.

The woman may be laughing so hard she is trying to recompose.

The woman tells us to go inside and look for both knowledge and wisdom by following our intuition. Find the truth. Raise yourself up by raising your vibrations.

My son said to me lately, "Nothing seems to be what it is". Spirit is what is behind it all, but we may not know what Spirit sees. Seeking wisdom and the light fills our Chalice with blessings and God's love. How often when things go wrong do we turn to the Divine. When we forgive and let go, we can heal and move forward. Bring in more light. You are not alone. Spirit is always with us, in the dark and in the light.

Do you remember the oldest prayer? Use this to raise you up and invoke the Divine:
Holy Art Thou, Lord of the Universe
Holy Art Thou, Whom Nature Hath Not Formed
Holy Art Thou, the Vast and Mighty One,
Lord of the Light and of the Dark.

You are loved and blessed.
