Open Door, Totem, Woolly Mammoth

Happy St. Patrick's Day. We have the green door and green mammoth, how appropriate. The totem is the mental link between the past and the opportunity - representing the future. It's what we make it.

A door has opened, our confinement of winter is nearly over. Our true self is also emerging. It has been closed off by the ego. Spring is in the air. With the door open, opportunity is presented.

The Thunderbird on the totem has its arms / wings out, taking in a deep breath of spring air. The totem symbolizes connection with the past through our ancestors and through all life. We are all evolving. We bring both the good and the less good with us as we evolve. You know that if you are on the bottom of the pole, you carry the weight. With the height and vision of the great Thunder bird, we recognizing this, we can see and do the work required. Some call this karma. The ancients knew that they can reach through time and touch us. We can heal the past (it's a 2-way street). This is the lesson the Chinese are facing now in Tibet. Look too within your own past for opportunities to heal.

The woolly mammoth is moving forward. Healing of those seeds of the past happens now. How you say, by a shift in our thinking and the actions we take. Look at the 'Message from the Water' Every thought is a prayer.
