From ancient times, the whip has been a symbol of discipline. There are more symbols here, but for now let's focus on discipline. What discipline is a challenge to you? It will be brought up for you to work on this morning.The stars and moon tell us that things are as they should be. We are following our destiny. A good message to hear we are on track. When we think of destiny, we think that things are fixed and can't be changed. They can be changed, but often, we have very little control. The prayer of serenity comes to mind:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
The red bed is empty. Did we have a good nights sleep? Is insomnia an issue? How is the relationship going.? These are questions to ask oneself. The card implies there may be illness or something is dormant or possibly misconduct (note the bed is unmade and a mess). There feels as if there is something separating 2 people. I would say a skeleton in the closet. A secret that may have already come out and is causing the separation. There seems to be a tug of war of wills. Reconciliation is possible. There must be a shift of one. Use your intuition, not your intellect or emotions. See behind the scenes with your intuition, ask for help from Spirit for the outcome with the highest good and trust in God.
We've been without challenges for a while. Time to get back to work and make some progress. Employ the disciplines we have found to be effective, such as meditation, prayer and contemplation (the three barbs of the whip)
You are loved and blessed.
